Minimum technical requirements
All our Norwegian language courses are taught via a virtual learning platform. Before starting the course, please make sure that your computer meets the technical requirements necessary for proper participation in online lessons. We do not require any computer software to be installed as the entire course is based on the use of our servers. However, it is necessary to have a web browser, which enables the use of cookies.
Computer software requirements:
- Windows 8 (or later) operating system
Windows users :
- Windows 8 (or later) operating system
Linux users will be able to use the platform normally as long as their computer supports the standard features listed below.
Minimum technical requirements
- 2 GB of RAM
- 1 GB of free disk space (recommended)
- Broadband Internet connection (DSL or cable recommended)
- Sound card with headphones
- It is also recommended to have a printer
Internet Browser Requirements :
- Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Safari
- Cookies and Pop-ups enabled (please don’t block pop-ups from our servers)

The Mozilla Firefox web browser is highly recommended, but other browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Explorer should function properly when combined with our platform.
Firewalls and network settings
For the full and proper functioning of our e-learning system, the following domains must be set as safe:
- www.norint.eu
- e-learning.norint.eu
- sv1.norint.eu
- sv2.norint.eu
- sv3.norint.eu
Also, when using the virtual class, some ports that are often closed on internal networks should be kept open.
