Course details:

The A2 course has been prepared for people who have completed the course for A1 beginners. Before enrolling in the course, all students are asked to complete a language proficiency test. Its results will be used by the teacher as a guide in individual student guidance. The lower intermediate level course was created as a continuation of the A1 course, also based on the Norwegian language learning program and general social knowledge for adults (“Lærerplan i norsk og samfunnskunnskap for voksne”) established by VOX (Norwegian Education Agency at the Ministry of Education).

The course at A2 level focuses the student’s attention on consolidating and expanding the previously acquired knowledge. It includes learning sentence structures, basic everyday expressions as well as learning to read, write, and use Norwegian in practice. In addition, the student gets to know better social customs and lifestyle in Norway. After completing this course, you should be able to participate in routine interviews at an intermediate level. This course prepares you for the official Norskprøve 2 exam.

The duration of the course (54 hours) given below covers the number of lessons during the course, however, mastering the entire material at level A2 may require more time. It is an individual matter.

The estimated total duration of the course is 124 hours (including own work time).

The A2 Intermediate course is available with teachers who speak the following languages: Polish, English, German and French.
